Last Saturday, my dad had urged me to go out with my sister to watch the navy boats and the fireworks which he said would be the prettiest fireworks ever and I would never be able to see something like it. Well, since I got the opportunity to go out that late at night, I decided to take the chance and go out however my sister didn't want to go but told me to lie to my parents that I was out with her and instead go with my friends.
So, I decided to get some friends to go with me which I was quite sure Rebecca could have gone with me however she wasn't online and I became quite anxious. I called Rebecca to confirm if she could come which I woke her up when she was sleeping. Sorry~~~ But she could came and we did have a great time (^.^). Anyway, I decided to ask a few others on Skype to see if they could come however D.H told me she might and might not come depending if her mum is at home, C.G wasn't able to come, V.N wasn't able to come cause of a promise she made with her mum and Ling who told me it would be a low chance that he would come.
Anyway, the day finally came where I started the morning and early afternoon in english tutoring and maths trial class. Before my english tutoring, D.H confirm she was going to join me in seeing the fireworks and during lunch V.N had contacted me and replied that she might come with me and that she would confirm it with me later during the day. After my maths trial class, I was ready to meet Rebecca at the arcade again which we had planned to spend our time there before going to the city. Meeting Rebecca I found out that Ling had contacted Rebecca that morning to confirm to her that he was able to make the fireworks which I was jumping with glee inside. (hmmm wonder how much people still used the word glee anyway). I missed 9 calls resulted in me having so much fun playing and not noticing my phone ringing once I did I decided to contact them back and to find out that V.N was joining us in a few moments time along with few other miss calls from Ling calling to confirm the plan for the night.
We had decided to meet V.N at the arcade before travelling to the city and meeting Ling at the arcade in the city. Around the time we finally met up, the sun has already began to set and Rebecca was getting hungry as she had not had lunch which led us to having dinner at the food court even though I wasn't hungry. As dinner drew to a close we called up D.H to confirm where we should meet her which ended up with us returning to the station to pick her up. Before we left for the station we wonder around the little shops that is located in the middle of the opened area first floor. Where they sell little things such as random soft toys, jewellery, hats, clothes and other things which I can't not name. As we went down the escalator to go outside, Ling didn't come with us and we had to wait for him at the bottom for a while as he mentioned he went to the bathroom.
We had arrived at the station early which Rebecca and I stopped at the park while Ling and V.N continued on to the station only to come back as D.H had not arrived. Ling had jumped out to scare us which Rebecca reacted by jumping out of the bench and running away which would have been a good idea if it was really a bad guy. As for me I sat in the bench and let out a scream which in a dangerous situation wouldn't be the best idea and probable safer to run with Rebecca. However since it was just Ling it became hilarious to have seen Rebecca's reaction. The 4 us waited at the station until D.H called us or maybe I called her. . . I don't really remember. It took us a while to find her as she had passed us in the park and we didn't notice her but once we found her we made our way quickly towards the harbour hoping not to missed the start of the fireworks. We got there in time to see the fireworks however the ones we saw were quite a distant away. We gradually made away through the crowd until we found a prefect spot where we could sit and was quite close to the water. I was sitting infront of Ling while V.N, D.H and Rebecca were behind us. Later V.N moved a couple of metres away to another empty spot near the ocean followed by Rebecca. D.H stay a while longer until she noticed that she was a third wheeler and joined the others a few metres away.
Later I began leaning on Ling's chest as we sat under the moonlight watching the distant fireworks shooting in the sky before dispersing into shining sparks. It was the prefect scenery and place to be sitting next to the one I love and I was grateful that my friends left us to have some alone time. During the fireworks, Ling revealed a gift which surprised me yet made me feel so happy, warm loved all the positive feelings you can think off. I felt like the happiest and luckiest girl in the world and probably is hehehe (^.^). The gift was a beautiful necklace which Ling later, helped me put it on. That moment, that night, was a very beautiful, romantic night of my life. I could not have wished for a better night.
The fireworks had stopped however no one had moved which I thought was weird believing that it was finished however I later understood there was more which was much more closer towards us. During the time we waited to see if there were anymore fireworks I was leaning on Ling's chest still and constantly trying to listen to his heart beat cause it made me feel calm, happy, relax safe. If time could stand still at this moment I would be over the moon (hehe~~~ ^.^). Of course, it couldn't therefore once the we noticed that more fireworks began we turned to watch, when it did start it gave me a startled me which led to me letting out a scream again. ( I think I scream to much but. . . Oh well). Ling started to film the fireworks and decided to move next to the others as they were in a better position to watch the fireworks. It was the closest time I have ever been to seeing fireworks and the most beautiful I have ever seen. It was certainly the best fireworks ever.
After the fireworks finished, everyone began leaving and so did we however Rebecca, V.N and I had mention earlier that we wanted to see the fairy lights on the trees at least that is what V.N had called it. Anyway, so we made our way towards that area making some little pitstops to watch performs and the little whirl pool fountain-ish thing. When we finally arrived we start to take photos, though D.H didn't participate much other than taking some photos. There was a specific tree that was slanted and the branches was spread outwards in a way that you were able to climb it which I did try but after a few steps up the tree I slided back down as my shoes dont have much grip cause it is flats. After I tried a few times, Ling climbed the try and managed to get up and sit between the branches where V.N took a picture of. I decided to try and get up after 2 tries I was successful in climbing up and again V.N took another picture, the problem after was I had a fear of heights so jumping down worried me but not for long. Ling helped me to get down the tree which I cant really describe how.
After I got down we took a few more photos and a few tries of Rebecca aiming to get up the tree however she never really made it up. Finally leaving the fairy light trees, we left for ice-cream which I shared with Ling before we made our way home for the night. Ling and I parted with D.H, V.N and Rebecca at the station while Ling and I caught the same train before we parted at my stop.
That night was the greatest night I had ever had. I am so happy even though I was slightly exhausted towards the end of the day, overall I was more than satisfied with the Amazing, Lovely, Beautiful, Wonderful, Fantastic Night Ever~~~
Thank you guys for coming that night making the night so much more special. I should probably thank my sister for not wanting to go and my dad telling me to go. hehe~~~
